Academy’s Genius Swordmaster - Chapter 134
[ 134. Untimely winter (4) ]

“Let’s compete with me.”
Nabi Roze pulled the hilt of the sword. With a ticking sound, Ursa, the secret sword, appeared.
One of Doron’s masterpieces. The blade, said to be made from a mixture of ten types of ore, was gleaming dark green like her pupils.
Ronan stood dumbfounded. Suddenly I couldn’t figure out what was going on. Nabi Rose urged him with an annoyed tone.
“What one. pull it out.”
“I don’t know what the hell is…”
Ronan clicked her tongue and drew her sword. Today’s butterfly rosé was somehow strange. Sensitive and eccentric was like a cat stabbed by a rose.
Sureureung! La Mancha’s dark blade scattered shadows. Ymir was still attached to her waist.
“Are you not using a dagger?”
“yes.”
Ronan nodded her head. It seemed that she would not be able to earn even if she went halfway through the dual wielding style. I muttered lowly to the butterfly that held her pose.
“Come with all your might.”
The voice was sincere. Whatever the reason, it seemed clear that he was sincere.
Instead of answering, Ronan grabbed the hilt of her sword. Roaring! A dazzling crimson color came up on the blade. Somehow, it seemed that it was much easier to feed mana to the sword than before. Nabi Rose shrugged her eyebrows.
“is it. Did you go there?”
“You mean there?”
“You have a core. Your real core.”
Ronan’s eyes widened. Now that I think about it, the pulse of her heart felt different than before. It must be said that she seems to be stirring something hotter than blood.
‘Is this also the aftermath of Haeju…?’
Maybe this is why her body became lighter. The two of them backed away with a gap of about thirty steps. I opened her mouth with a butterfly confirming that her Ronan had her stance.
“I will begin.”
Ronan nodded her head. At the same time, the shape of Nabi Rose disappeared from sight. pop! Her green flash flashed, and her sword spirit shot from the spot where she stood.
“Nimi…!”
Ronan spat out a curse. Two crescent moons were flying towards him. The flying swords crossing each other seemed to be well over 30 meters long.
As she focused her mind, I saw myself as a butterfly running close behind the sword. The moment he saw her, Ronan realized how much she had been hiding her skills during her lessons. It was a speed she would not have been able to react to two years ago.
‘It’s fun.’
But apart from her embarrassment, I could feel my blood boiling. It was the long-awaited battle with the former swordsman. bang! Relying on his intuition, Ronan leaped off the ground.
‘high…!’
The lighter body soared higher than expected. The sword was approaching right in front of his eyes. Ronan swung his sword across the lot in front of him.
Awesome! The blade drew a circle and cut the part where the two sword blades intersected. The four-piece sword blade flew behind Ronan.
Kwaaang! The sword strikes against the wall caused an explosion. Remnants of mana flew like sparks. Nabi Rose, who was running, stopped abruptly. Ronan spun one more time and lowered his sword. The slash, whose power was amplified several times, landed on the head of Navi Rose.
“Huh!”
“that…!”
Nabi Roze’s face hardened. It resembled his own spinning sword, but was subtly different. With a calm yet sharp sword, I’m sure I’ve seen it somewhere before.
The question reared its head, but there was no time to think about it now. Holding her sword hilt with both of her hands, she responded to her attack. Two blades collided in the air.
Kaaaaang-!
It resounded with a mixture of metal and gong sounds. The windows that could not withstand the shock wave were shattered. Surprised by each other’s strength, the two gritted their teeth.
“Mmm!”
“Big…!”
However, no one was pushed back. After a short contest of strength, the two men thrust out their swords again.
Cagan! Kang! The quickswords that far surpassed cognition collided in a chain. Every time the blades met, red-green flashes bloomed in the air. Suddenly, a question flashed in Ronan’s eyes.
‘what?’
Something was strange. The more they shared, the more the sense of heterogeneity increased. But there was no way to confirm right away, so Ronan grabbed the hilt of his sword. Hwareuk! The red light that shimmered inside the sword rose to the surface.
“I will go with all my heart.”
“It’s arrogant.”
With a butterfly I twisted her lips. thud! After a short burst of spirit, Ronan stamped her right foot. Shining roots that grew in an instant wrapped around Nabi Rose’s body.
“This….”
Nabi Rose’s eyes widened. It was the car that swung her sword at her, with her Ronan bound. Kwajik! Her foot, which tore through her roots and protruded, became lodged in Ronan’s abdomen.
“Kuuk!”
Ronan gritted it. It was a shock as if the insides were turned upside down. As he bounced away, he swung his sword at the same time. pop! The crimson sword was fired at Navi Rose.
However, it was not the existing crescent moon shape, but an organic form like a spray of water. Ronan burst into exclamations at the transformation of the sword he had longed for.
“Fuck it!”
“Did you make it in the end?”
Butterfly Rose let out a laugh. A red torrent was rushing in. She defended her blade with a light spin of her sword. Kwakwawang! Liquefied spirits pounded Ursa’s blade incessantly. Suddenly, a voice came from behind.
“also.”
The hair on the back of his neck stood up. With a butterfly, I hurriedly turned her head. Before she knew it, Ronan returned behind her, swinging her sword across her side. Her swift slash was flying, dragging her red tail.
“Kuh…!”
As the butterfly hurriedly turned around, I took her defensive stance. However, Ronan’s slash was already right in front of her. At this distance, Ursa is pushed away and hits me. Sensing that she was a step late, she gritted her teeth.
“……?”
However, no collision occurred. La Mancha stopped right in front of Daetaedo. A wrinkle formed between Nabi Rose’s forehead.
“…what is this doing?”
Ronan didn’t answer. As soon as he lowered his sword, the color of La Mancha returned to its original color. I growled low as a butterfly distorted his face even more.
“I asked what you were doing.”
“Come back when everything is better.”
Ronan said calmly. Snow was seeping through the broken windows. With a butterfly, I frowned at her.
“what?”
“It’s not normal, Instructor. Did you have an accident?”
For a moment, a terrible silence fell. After being silent for a few seconds, she opened her mouth.
“…I’m not hurt.”
“Then what the hell happened? Why don’t you write Mansa? There are too many extraneous things in movement.”
Ronan listed the abnormalities she felt like a rapid fire. Nabi Rose’s skills were generally degraded. He was as good as the ferocious driving force, but should I say that’s all. From the time he was meditating, he thought something was strange, but he didn’t know it was this much.
“Ronan…”
“Tell me honestly. What’s the matter?”
For the first time, I hated Adeshan. It’s a bitch that everyone is healthy. Judging by the degree of degeneration, it was clear that he had injured a fatal part as a prosecutor.
either an arm or a leg. He must have lied to reassure me. Nabi Rose, who had been silent for a long time, struggled to open her mouth.
“…I lost to Zaifa.”
“yes?”
“It is literally. It happened earlier this year. I just couldn’t keep my composure.”
Nabi Roze sighed. Earlier this year, she challenged Zaifa again for the Sword Saint position, but was ultimately defeated.
She was not injured, but the focus was on her losing even though she was re-challenging. Ronan frowned.
“Wait a minute, then you’re not hurt? Not even one?”
“okay. Didn’t I tell you earlier?”
With a butterfly, I nodded her head. It was as if she had been talking about something ever since. Ronan, who swallowed the curse that had risen to her throat, gave her a sigh of relief.
‘I’m scaring the damn person.’
Ten years seemed old. Adeshan was not lying. As he brushed her bangs, he opened his mouth.
“Damn, I’m glad you didn’t get hurt. I thought any arm was cut off and replaced with a prosthetic arm.”
“well. Maybe that would have been better.”
“yes?”
“I was convinced of this fight. That I can’t beat that cat for the rest of my life.”
She said that after her last fight, she realized her own limits. It came as a great shock to Butterfly Rose, who had only overcome her whole life, except for Zaipa and her white-haired man.
Not only did she not be able to display her skills, but to the extent that she couldn’t bring out her aura, Mansa. As a butterfly, I smiled bitterly at her.
“It’s like a kid’s attitude. I’m sorry for showing you an embarrassing appearance.”
“Instructor.”
Ronan twisted her mouth. She never imagined that a person who never seemed to be broken would become like this. She quietly looked up at her Ronan, and I opened her mouth to the butterfly.
“But…it’s a little better now.”
“yes?”
“Because another disciple with potential, unlike me, has appeared.”
Ronan lowered her gaze. Nabi Rose’s face brightened even more. Retracting her sword, she slammed her Ronan’s chest.
“I’ve grown to the point where I’m ashamed to compare myself to before… what the hell happened in the last two years?”
“I just came back to look at myself.”
“Someone awakened their aura and came, and you make me happy again in this way.”
Saying that, Nabi Rose looked genuinely happy. I felt the darkness that had hung over her face dissipate, albeit a little.
“I shouldn’t be a shameful teacher either.”
Seeing that he was able to forget his own pain through the success of his disciples, he was also a natural teacher. The two simply exchanged their current situation.
“You met Adeshan before you came here? And yet, the child did not tell me about my condition.”
“I didn’t tell you. He said he would have to hear it with his own mouth.”
“Anyway, good boy. Not even my assistant anymore.”
“I think so. that instructor. I have a request for you.”
Butterfly Rose tilted her head. Ronan opened his mouth. She shrugged her eyebrows when she heard that she wanted to go to Rhodolan.
“It’s Rodolan. Are you going to visit the Winter Witch?”
“yes.”
“I knew it would. As soon as you return, you throw yourself into the whirlpool.”
Ronan scratched her head in disdain. I nodded his head with the butterfly that had been holding my chin for a while.
“I get it. Call Inquisitor Karaka.”
“thank you.”
“Don’t do anything reckless instead. The sword festival will be held soon.”
“Hey, what am I going to do?”
“Whatever it was, I did it. And only with fairly loud things.”
The two people facing each other giggled at the same time. Nabi Roze picked up the strewn canteen. Shaking off the remaining water from her, she opened her mouth.
“Ronan.”
“yes?”
“I am glad to be back.”
Nabi Roze turned her back with those words. His footsteps, as if running away, were noticeable. He was a strange person to feel ashamed of. Ronan, who was watching her from behind, smiled.
“me too.”
****
Even though the sun had set, the sky was overcast. The sound of the wind, like crying, was coming irregularly. Every time the moonlight broke through the clouds, the snow piled up on the ground shone softly.
Butterfly Rosé said that by tomorrow at the latest, she would receive a reply from Rodolan. After her conversation with her, Ronan immediately left the Gallerion House.
She was to visit the new club building. Originally, she was going to visit her a little later, but she said that Marja had to come today unconditionally.
“Obviously it was here…”
Reaching the north side of the campus, Ronan looked around her. The garden, which was originally full of flowers and trees, had turned into a pure white snowy field. After washing her eyes and searching, there was no building that could be used as a club building.
‘Damn, didn’t I tell you the wrong thing?’
Ronan, who took out his pipe, spat out a curse. It was difficult for her to light the fire because it was snowing non-stop. Then she heard a familiar voice not far away.
“Ro Ronan! This way!”
“What?”
Ronan turned her head. Some rattle-sized creature was wearing her fur and shivering. His red hair, like a tulip, was more visible than the lantern in his hand.
“Were you there?”
Ronan, who brushed off her wet pipe, took her steps. Asher was completely frozen and was becoming a snowman. Ronan frowned at her.
“Are you okay, man?”
“I came out for a while because I thought I was lost…”
“Tsk, be foolish.”
She brushed off her eyes that Ronan had got on his hat. Behind Asher, a small building was erected. It was a small, ungainly building that, at best, could have been used as a warehouse, but I hadn’t seen it because the exterior walls were pure white and the roof was covered with snow. Ronan frowned at her.
“That old Kratyr tricked me.”
“Oh no… You’ll be surprised when you go inside.”
“Yeah, that’s right.”
Ronan grumbled and entered the building. As soon as I closed the door, the sound of the wind died down.
A small lantern glowed above his head. The rectangular space was filled with thick piles of firewood.
“Amazing. A log bed.”
“It’s all a trick. The stairs come out of nowhere, so be careful.”
“what?”
Ronan tilted her head. Asher took his foot off without hesitation. Ronan’s eyes widened when he saw his leg go through the firewood. Surprisingly, all the firewood was an insubstantial hallucination.
‘It took quite a bit of effort.’
It was an advanced technique that was only seen in the library of the Tower of Dawn. After walking through the fake firewood, it wasn’t long before the stairs leading down appeared.
It was a fairly steep and deep staircase. A delicious smell was wafting from somewhere. Ronan, who was going down the stairs, asked Asher.
“So why did you say it could be today or not? There are many other days.”
“That’s…”
Asher scratched his cheek and averted his gaze. It was clear that he was hiding something when he refused to respond when he threatened to tie his hair in two pigtails.
The moment I finally reached the end of the stairs, the view was wide open. Asher exclaimed.
“I brought you!”
“Ah finally.”
Ronan’s eyes widened. Something was crowded with people.
They were all familiar and nostalgic, but right now I was more surprised than happy. Seeing the appearance of the new club, Ronan burst into laughter.
“…this crazy old man.”
