Theatrical Regression Life - Chapter 0 ( Prologue )
——————
Prologue
Sometimes there are such antagonists.
Those antagonists who, without any notable abilities, delight in undermining the prosperous protagonist, play the role of a meddlesome old-timer, and, armed only with authority, constantly obstruct the protagonist and their party for the sole reason of being the organization’s elder.
It’s hard to neatly label these antagonists as villains. Or perhaps, it might be a waste to do so. They are more irritating than the antagonists fighting on the opposite side of the protagonist, and dealing with these types is equally if not more exasperating.
Especially when the antagonist holds a position that the protagonist can’t easily confront. More than those villains fighting against the protagonist from the opposite side, these individuals are equally bothersome. If the person in authority on the protagonist’s side is corrupt and needs to be cleaned up immediately, it’s even more frustrating.
These villains are like a refreshing soda when they meet their demise, either by the hands of the protagonist and their group or due to inevitable circumstances such as accidents or disasters.
That villain is me.
