KK will debut soon.
If things had gone as planned, the debut would have gone smoothly. However, if it is ‘as it was’, the meaning of changing the body, going back in time, and living a new life is slim.
Two months had already passed, the days were getting colder and winter was coming. It was soon Man to Man’s debut. As time passed, I couldn’t help but feel impatient.
‘Where should I start changing?’
‘how……? ‘He puts in less effort to become a singer than Kang Do-wook did before.’
‘How can KK and Kang Do-wook beat Seo Kang-joon?’
Do-wook opened the practice room door and entered, collecting his floating thoughts.
These days, during dance time, people form groups and practice cover dances, so most people sit around in groups. The mood was more lively than usual because of the regular evaluation tomorrow.
“Are you here?”
Taehyung Park from Group A greeted Dowook. Taehyung Park couldn’t help but be impressed every time he saw Kang Do-wook, who was with him at the audition. It was a coveted look that he just wanted to have. If he was reasonably handsome, I would have been jealous, but he was so different that I was just jealous.
“You came early?”
“Uh… Ugh.”
Hit Entertainment was now forming a debut team. With a rough outline in place, most people knew that the members of group A of the dance evaluation would be the debut group.
The members of Group A had excellent average skills, and many of them had long training periods. Group A had a total of 8 people, and among them, only Kang Do-wook and Park Tae-hyung were first-time trainees who had been in the group for 2 months after being selected at the previous audition.
Although they were colleagues who practiced together, because they had the goal of debuting, their relationship was ultimately that of rivalry. Because of this, there was quite a bit of territoriality among the trainees. New trainees became the target. Even though he was a trainee of a different level than Do-wook, someone like Park Tae-hyung was easy prey.
Taehyung Park had a gentle appearance and spoke in a sloppy manner, making him a perfect target for bullies. However, as we became part of Group A, the timing was added.
Thanks to this, Do-wook was the only person who properly received Park Tae-hyung’s greeting. The trainees’ control was getting worse day by day.
Since they were all trainees about to debut in the entertainment industry, they did not commit violence, but mental violence was also serious violence.
“Park Taehyung! “Stop sitting still, you bastard, and get some water!”
Taehyung stood up hesitantly and headed towards the water purifier. Do-wook looked at Jo Jeong-min, who had ordered Taehyung to fetch water, and sighed. Taehyung quickly got water in a paper cup. Jo Jung-min frowned after taking a sip of water.
“X, the water is too lukewarm. Come back refreshed.”
It was the same water that came out of the water purifier anyway. Without saying anything, Taehyung headed back to the water purifier.
“You poor bastard. “It’s completely sick.”
Jo Jeong-min said sarcastically as if he was listening behind Taehyung’s back. While other trainees took care of themselves and bullied people in secret, Jo Jung-min openly bullied people.
Looking at Taehyung, Do-wook felt a sense of déjà vu, as if he was seeing his old self, Kim Bo-myeong. Although the degree and circumstances were different, if Park Tae-hyung was Kim Bo-myeong, Jo Jung-min could be seen as Seo Kang-jun. Do-wook became bitter that such relationships existed anytime, anywhere.
Jo Jung-min is a long-time trainee who trained at Hit Entertainment for about 4 years and is the oldest at 21 years old. He had a stocky physique, so he was the leader among the trainees. He was also a person who later became a member of KK.
Previously, when Bo-myeong worked at an agency, he would often hear bad rumors about Jo Jung-min.
‘There’s no way your personality was good before you debuted.’
Jo Jung-min was one of the reasons why KK, a rising idol group, went from stagnation to decline. Jo Jung-min was involved in a drunk driving and assault incident during the hiatus after his 3rd album promotions, which greatly tarnished KK’s image.
‘In order for KK to beat Man-to-Man and become the best, the member composition must change. It would be right to resolve this first with Jo Jeong-min.’
I was confident that it would be the right choice for everyone, whether it was Kim Bo-myeong himself or the members of KK. It was even more so as I watched Taehyung Park pouring cold water again.
“After the evaluation tomorrow, my debut will almost be confirmed, right?”
As the atmosphere was about to get tense, trainee Ahn Hyeong-seo, who was sitting next to Jo Jung-min, muttered. The voice was a mixture of half anticipation and half concern.
Jo Jung-min boasted.
“of course. Monster is now obsolete, so there was an uproar from above that a new group should debut quickly. “Who would it be if we debuted? We are unconditional.”
Even though it was almost a taboo to speak carelessly about a group of seniors from the same agency, Jo Jung-min had no hesitation.
Do-wook, who had been quietly listening, opened his mouth.
“Who said this? “Monster waste?”
“what? Kang Do-wook, do you speak harshly?”
“But those people at least made their debut. “These are people who couldn’t make it here.”
The noisy atmosphere in the practice room suddenly became cold. Debut was, of course, the word that most easily stimulated all trainees. In particular, the longer the trainee period was like Jo Jung-min, the more fatal it was.
“What is this, Monster Badol? “I asked him if he was coming and he climbed up?”
Jo Jung-min got angry and attacked.
“And didn’t you hear what I just said? “Why can’t I debut? I’ll debut the day after tomorrow.”
Clearly, Jo Jung-min was imbued with the conceit that he would definitely debut. It was worth it. Jo Jung-min was right because regardless of his personality, he had the skills to debut. If Hit Entertainment, which does not have a sufficient pool of trainees, were to form a debut team, Jo Jung-min and a few others would be the best choice.
“debut. “Are you really confident?”
“what? “This bastard is real.”
Jo Jeong-min’s arm immediately rose in response to Do-wook’s provocation. There was a murmur around.
‘The assault incident broke out late at that time. ‘At this rate, it is obvious that there will already be multiple assault records.’
In reality, Jo Jung-min was on the verge of suspension several times during his school days due to his violent behavior.
The eyes of Park Tae-hyung and Do-wook, who were holding cups of water behind Jo Jung-min, met. Park Tae-hyung, who was dispirited, was looking at Do-wook with a worried face.
‘Don’t worry about yourself…’
Do-wook felt frustrated after once again reading Kim Bo-myeong to Park Tae-hyung, who had never properly resisted and was just being nice.
As it was, there was no Taehyung Park in KK. Maybe I just didn’t know, but the name Park Tae-hyung had never debuted until the day Bo-myeong had an accident.
‘I understand why Park Taehyung didn’t debut.’
Taehyung Park was clearly weak-hearted. Even more so when you enter the entertainment industry, the inside of a trainee was like a jungle. I would have easily gotten tired and fallen off.
‘But it’s too bad to let him go like that… He’s the type of person whose talent will blossom even with just a little bit of praise and help.’
On the day of the audition, Park Tae-hyung was the last number in Do-wook’s group. Thanks to this, Dowook was able to see Taehyung Park’s audition scene. And even though I didn’t know that Taehyung Park would be there, I was confident.
This was also my feeling as Kim Bo-myeong, an employee who had spent some time in the agency’s public relations team.
What Taehyung Park prepared was not a song but a dance. Taehyung Park performed a short dance of about a minute to the music he had prepared. Unlike the hesitant steps forward, Taehyung Park suddenly changed as soon as the music started. It was a unique gesture, and I could feel the groove in each hand gesture.
As he became a trainee and took dance classes, Do-wook was able to realize again that Tae-hyung Park was really good. Compared to those who had been practicing for much longer, Taehyung Park was able to dance better while leaving his body to the song.
Taehyung Park was placed in Group A because of his dancing skills.
“You asked. “Are you confident?”
Do-wook intercepted what Jo Jung-min was trying to say with his eyes widening.
“If you’re confident, try beating Taehyung Park.”
Taehyung Park’s eyes grew even wider as he stood there. Taehyung Park had no idea what on earth Kang Do-wook was talking about him all of a sudden.
“Are you confident that you will score better than Taehyung Park during tomorrow’s evaluation?”
“What…!”
“Isn’t it true that you can’t even beat Taehyung, who has been a trainee for 2 months, and then debut?”
It was a place where everyone was listening. Cho Jung-min’s pride would not allow him to answer no.
Just then, the practice room door opened and the dance class instructor came in. The gathered gaze dispersed. One by one, the trainees stood up, greeted each other, and formed a line.
“Why is it so messy today?”
The instructor frowned and asked as if something was strange, but there was no answer. The instructor soon cleaned up the place and prepared for class.
“We’ll see. Kang Do-wook.”
“Why are you looking at me? “I have to beat Taehyung Park.”
Jo Jung-min’s voice was full of swearing, but Do-wook didn’t even pretend to listen and stood back. I saw Taehyung Park fidgeting in the mirror.

“I… too Do-wook.”
After the dance class, Jo Jung-min led his group and kicked out the practice room door. Everyone had to keep an eye on Jo Jung-min because he had a grim face while taking class.
Taehyung approached Do-wook, who was packing his bag and wiping his sweat with the towel he had brought with him. Dowook looked at Taehyung in silence.
“That guy from earlier… with Jeongmin hyung…”
Park Taehyung fell silent, unable to continue speaking. Since Do-wook tripped over Park Tae-hyung at will, it could have been a lightning strike out of the blue for Park Tae-hyung.
“Do well tomorrow. “You dance well.”
“I… I can’t…”
“Don’t think you can’t do it. “That’s how you debut.”
“Uh… huh?”
“I know what you’re worried about. do not do that. Just do it as usual. “Then you are doing well.”
Whether he wins or loses, the worry that Jo Jung-min might harm him was clearly visible on Park Tae-hyung’s face. If you hide or retreat because of that fear, you have no choice but to live like that forever. Dowook declared to Taehyung Park.
“That’s how you debut. “Not Jo Jung-min, you.”
If Taehyung Park were to debut, he would have the talent to be in the top five dance classes among many idols.
Through this incident, Do-wook planned to kill two birds with one stone by preventing Jo Jung-min’s debut and increasing Park Tae-hyung’s confidence to lead him to his debut.
